Several compelling reasons driving this surge are

1. Excellent Return On Investment (ROI)

Solar for home offers a compelling financial opportunity. With ongoing high solar rebates (even though they decrease annually), the switch to solar is remarkably cost-effective.
There are plenty of interest-free financing options to make the transition even easier.

2. Reduce Your Carbon Footprint

Beyond energy savings, solar power lets you make a significant environmental impact.
A modest 6.6 kW solar system can help you cut a remarkable 10.6 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. That’s almost like planting 500 trees!

3. Substantial Energy Bill Savings

Installing a solar system for home can dramatically reduce your energy bills. Some households have reported yearly electricity costs of less than $10, showcasing its enormous savings potential.

How Solar Panel System Works

Your solar panels absorb sunlight throughout the day and convert it into electricity.

The DC electricity charges a battery through a solar regulator. This regulator ensures that the battery is charged correctly and safely, preventing any damage.

For DC appliances, they can draw power directly from the battery. But for AC appliances, which use 240 Volt AC power, an inverter is used to convert the DC electricity.

Any extra electricity that the appliances don’t need can be sent back to the grid or stored in batteries for later use. This way, nothing goes to waste!
The solar panels absorb sunlight and transform it into electricity in the form of direct current (DC).

Want to claim rebates and ensure a long-term warranty for your solar system?

In Victoria, the SolarVic program provides a rebate for solar panel system installation if you are installing it in existing homes, homes under construction, and rental properties.

How to read solar inverter display

A solar panel inverter is one of the most important parts of your solar panels, and it can tell you if there’s a problem or if everything’s running smoothly.

Check the Power Output :

On the inverter’s display, you’ll usually find a number that represents the current power production in watts (W). For example, if it shows 4000 W, it means your system is currently producing 4 kilowatts (kW) of electricity. This number helps you know how much energy your panels are generating.

Navigate the Display :

Your inverter may have various screens and information. To access different data, press the MENU button on the inverter and toggle through the options.

Daily Production :

If you go to the ‘Log’ screen, you can see your daily energy production in kilowatt-hours (kWh). This number resets daily, so it’s a great way to check how well your system is performing each day
